
Activity of the trilateral working group on unblocking communications in the South Caucasus has been frozen due to Armenia, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a briefing today, Report informs.
“Unfortunately, at present, work in the group, alas, I have to voice this because these are the facts, is frozen due to the position of the Armenian side. We confirm our readiness to resume full-fledged interaction,” she noted.
Zakharova emphasized that the group had done “colossal work on coordinating both legal foundations and technical parameters for restoring transport routes between Armenia and Azerbaijan.”
