Azerbaijan should more actively integrate its non-oil-gas sector into the global economy, stated Ivailo Izvorski, the World Bank’s Chief Economist for the Europe and Central Asia region, Report informs.

During the presentation of the World Development Report 2024 in Baku, Izvorski stressed that Azerbaijan has already established a strong position in the global market thanks to its energy sector.
