Previously, railways were a male-dominated field, but now the situation has changed in favor of women, Aybaniz Ismayilova, head of the Communication Department of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY), stated at an event titled “Exemplary Leadership in Women’s Employment and Career Development in Azerbaijan” held in Baku, Report informs.

“The transformation of the railway industry is not just a matter of capital; it creates an opportunity to survive in a competitive global market for talents. By ensuring inclusivity, we are preparing for the industry’s development. We should turn railways into a purposeful career choice rather than a random one,” she noted.
