Wildfires have erupted across forests in three Turkish provinces, leading to emergency evacuations, Report informs via TRT Haber.

The fires began last evening and have persisted into today, affecting the provinces of Canakkale and Usak. Additionally, a blaze that ignited overnight in Izmir Province’s Dikili district has expanded due to strong winds.

Efforts to quell the flames from both the air and ground are currently in progress across all affected areas.

In Usak, residents from several homes have been evacuated as a precaution. Meanwhile, in Izmir, property damage has been reported, including a fish farm and a residential building.
