А volcanic eruption has been reported at the Sundhnuks crater in Iceland.

Report informs via Newsweek that Iceland’s Met Office had put out a warning on Tuesday morning, stating: “Intense seismic activity is ongoing on the Sundhnúkur crater row. A magma propagation might be starting or has started, and a volcanic eruption could follow.”

This led to hundreds of people being evacuated from the nearby Blue Lagoon, as reported in Icelandic media outlet Morgunblaðið.
