The Uzbek government will open its borders to foreign tourists from October 1 as part of a gradual easing of quarantine measures, said a representative of the Operational Staff under the Cabinet of Ministers.

Report informs, citing RIA Novosti, that tour operators will be allowed to organize group trips of up to 15 foreign tourists without a two-week quarantine. However, travel agencies must provide their customers with COVID-19 testing, as well as adequate insurance to cover disease risks.
