Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will sign a package of agreements to enhance cooperation between their countries, Report informs, citing the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

President Mirziyoyev has embarked on an official visit to Kuala Lumpur today at the invitation of Prime Minister Ibrahim.

“The agenda for the upcoming meetings includes discussions on strengthening friendly relations and expanding practical cooperation between the two countries in areas such as trade, investment, innovation, technological collaboration, and other priority sectors. The parties will also emphasize enhancing cultural and humanitarian exchanges,” the statement said.
