The Republic of Korea and the United States held the first simulation, theoretical exercises under the bilateral consultative group on nuclear planning.
According to Report, which cites TASS, the exercises took place on September 5-6 in Washington. They were attended by representatives of the ministries of defense, foreign affairs, intelligence and agencies related to state security. The simulation exercises “make a significant contribution to the activities of the group” as they help allies better understand “the decision-making process regarding nuclear deterrence,” the statement said.
