Oil imports to the United States from Saudi Arabia for the week ended April 16 jumped almost twice, to 358,000 barrels per day, Report informs, citing the Energy Information Administration of the US Department of Energy (EIA).

The minimum volume of imports was recorded for the week ended January 1, when oil imports to the United States from Saudi Arabia reached zero for the first time in 35 years. The maximum volume of imports – 2.047 million barrels of oil per day – was recorded in the first week of 2012.
