UNDP wants to help Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) become a demining center of excellence in the region, UNDP Chargé d’Affaires in Azerbaijan Sukhrob Khojimatov said, Report informs.

“ANAMA has a lot of experience and we want to make it a center of excellence in the region. This means that ANAMA will share its experience with other countries. We have already agreed with experts from Turkey and Cambodia, they have already agreed to create a joint exchange center,” he said.

He noted that the organization has been working with ANAMA since 1998 and plans to further strengthen cooperation.
