The State Agency for Land Reclamation and Fisheries of Ukraine has unilaterally terminated the last existing agreement with Russia in the field of fishing in the Sea of Azov, Report informs with reference to TASS.

The agreement has been in force since 1993 and “acted as an instrument for implementing the provisions of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea in terms of ensuring the rational use of aquatic biological resources in the Sea of Azov basin.”
