Kyiv received a new tranche of macro-financial assistance of 2.5 billion euros from the European Union. The total amount of the aid reached 6.7 billion euros, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

The EC stated in May that it was considering the adoption of a package of macro-financial assistance of 9 billion euros, of which 6 billion were officially agreed. It is specified that 1 billion euros were allocated in August and 2 billion in October.

Today, Ukraine received the second tranche of 2.5 billion euros under the current exceptional, eighth in a row, EU macro-financial assistance program, the ministry noted on its Telegram channel.
