More than 150 tons of engine oil got into the Dnipro River due to the blow-up of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant by the Russian Armed Forces. However, there is a risk of further leakage, Report informs referring to RBC-Ukraine.

The members of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council were informed that at least 150 tons of machine lubricant got into the Dnipro, there is a risk of further leakage of more than 300 tons, the report says.

The meeting also agreed on a set of measures. They include convening a meeting of the UN Security Council, an appeal to international environmental organizations and the International Criminal Court, since such actions of the Russian Armed Forces contain signs of a violation of the Geneva Convention.
