On February 19, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), visited the stand of Azersilah Defense Industry Holding CJSC under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry at the IDEX 2025 International Defense Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, Report informs, citing the ministry.
During the visit, Azerbaijani Defense Industry Minister Vugar Mustafayev provided Sheikh Mohammed with detailed information about the military products manufactured by Azerbaijan and displayed at the exhibition. The UAE President wished Azerbaijan’s delegation success at the IDEX 2025 International Defense Exhibition.
Additionally, the Defense Minister of Italy, Guido Crosetto, reviewed Azerbaijan’s defense-oriented products and received comprehensive information about the local offerings.
Throughout the exhibition, Minister Mustafayev also met with UAE Minister of State for Defense Affairs Mohamed bin Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Board of the Directors of EDGE Group Faisal Al Bannai, Secretary General of Tawazun Council Nasser Al Nuaimi, and leaders from China’s CETC International company.
These meetings focused on exploring cooperation opportunities in the defense industry and exchanging views on matters of mutual interest.
The IDEX 2025 International Defense Exhibition will continue until February 21.
