The Turkish Government is working towards increasing the number of products that are subject to concessions in the Preferential Trade Agreement signed with Azerbaijan, Deputy Trade Minister of Turkiye Riza Tuna Turagay told Report.

“There are a number of proposals submitted to the Azerbaijani side and we are waiting for a response. Our meetings in this direction continue. We hope to achieve positive results. Our goal is to increase the number of products included in the agreement this year,” he said.

The deputy minister added that the main goal today is to increase the annual trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Turkiye to $15 billion: “We hope to achieve these goals soon through our close cooperation.”
