
Turkiye wants the expansion of NATO, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at a joint press conference with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto, Report informs.
According to him, Turkiye is one of the countries that contributes the most to NATO solidarity:
“The purpose of establishing the alliance is to ensure the security of the member countries. Today, NATO has two main threats: Russia and terrorism. Unfortunately, terrorist organizations continue to operate in Sweden and Finland. If our concerns are satisfied, there will be no problem with the NATO membership of those states.”
