Türkiye’s long-standing ‘all inclusive’ tourism system, which offers comprehensive packages to visitors, is once again under the spotlight as industry stakeholders propose its cancellation amid emerging challenges, Report informs referring to the Hürriyet newspaper.
The publication notes that parties interested in the development of tourism have been complaining about the ‘all inclusive’ system for many years.
“Hotel owners, non-governmental organizations, agencies, politicians and even ministers are in favor of changing the system. Türkiye, which at one time benefited from the ‘all inclusive’ system, needs to consider new opportunities,” the newspaper notes.
According to experts, this system previously became an important way out for the development of tourism.
“The successes we have achieved are, of course, undeniable. However, insisting on this system in the future may lead to new problems,” said tourism expert Zafer Alkaya.
