The foreign ministries of Iraq, Türkiye and Syria are negotiating to create a favorable atmosphere for a meeting between Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Bashar al-Assad in Baghdad, Al Akhbar said, citing sources in the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Report informs.

Sources said that organizational issues could take a long time, and it is impossible to give an approximate date for talks. However, this does not mean “there are any obstacles,” the source added.
