The Federation of Turkish-Azerbaijani Associations (FTAA) has declared that it supports the local anti-terrorist measures carried out by Azerbaijan in the Karabakh economic region, the Committee for Work with Diaspora said, Report informs.
On this occasion, a press conference was held at the Istanbul Türkiye-Azerbaijan Solidarity and Culture Association (IS-TAD) office.
IS-TAD chairman and FTAA spokesman Safar Karakoyunlu, FTAA board deputy chairman Parviz Mammadzade spoke at the event. Talking about the reasons leading to anti-terror measures, the speakers said that the state of Azerbaijan, whose rightful cause has always been supported, has taught the necessary lesson to Armenia, which commits terrorist acts on its territory. The Turkish public also wants peace and stability to prevail in the region, no bloodshed, and an end to tears. The peace in the region will bring stability.
