
The situation in the South Caucasus remains fragile, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye, Mevlut Cavcusoglu, said at a meeting with the young diplomats, Report informs.
The minister said that the Second Karabakh War showed that “frozen” conflicts can flare up again at any time: “The alternative to this is cooperation. As a global power, we must be active in all directions and turn crises into opportunities.”
He said that the war in Ukraine continues, too: “No one knows how the processes will continue. It is very difficult to predict the course of events. Systems created after the end of the Cold War have a short life span.”
According to Cavusoglu, it is too difficult to predict the future now compared to previous years.
