
A court hearing will be held on the criminal case of persons of Armenian origin accused of war crimes on February 7.
According to Report, at the trial held at the Baku Court Complex under the chairmanship of Judge Zeynal Agayev of the Baku Military Court, they are accused of crimes against peace and humanity, war crimes, including aggressive warfare, genocide, forced displacement, persecution, torture, military looting, and other illegal acts committed against Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani people by the Armenian state and its armed forces, including the former self-proclaimed “Nagorno-Karabakh Republic” established in Azerbaijan’s occupied territories and its illegal armed formations.
At the court hearing, the prosecutor will continue reading the operative part of the indictment.
Then the defendants will be given an opportunity to speak regarding the charges brought against them.
