The Nakhchivan corridor will further develop our trade, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey Khazar Ibrahim told to the Anadolu Agency.

The ambassador said that after the liberation of Azerbaijani lands from Armenian occupation, trade will increase significantly with the opening of the Nakhchivan corridor.

Ibrahim said that this corridor would connect Turkey with Azerbaijan and the Turkic world.

“We are thinking of good cooperation here. This corridor does not not only connect the Turkic states in Central Asia, but also Turkey and Russia – two major regional powers. This will allow trade between Turkey and Russia to reach a very high level,” he added.

The diplomat also spoke about the participation of the Turkish companies in construction projects in the liberated areas.
