Armenia used mercenaries during the Patriotic War, said Prosecutor Tarana Mammadova while announcing the indictment during the trial of persons of Armenian origin accused of committing war crimes, Report informs.

Mammadova stated that for the purpose of preparing for the aggressive war, Vladimir (Vova) Vartanov provided illegal military training with weapons and ammunition to members of the terrorist organization “VoMa” that he created, as well as ethnic Armenian citizens from France, Lebanon, Syrian Arab Republic, Russia and other countries, and members of various terrorist organizations in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.
