
Trade restrictions between member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) should be lifted, according to Mustafa Rifat Hisarcikoglu, Honorary President of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), Report informs.
Hisarcikoglu made this statement at the event titled “Turkic Investment Fund and Union of Turkish Chambers of Commerce and Industry (TCCI): Information Meeting and B2B for Business Leaders” held in Baku.
He noted that this will develop trade and economic relations between countries: ” At present, countries are working towards this goal. However, we must expedite this process to ensure the development of our trade. We should make better use of Trans-Caspian crossings, increase TANAP’s potential further, and the transmission of Turkmenistan natural gas to Europe should be priority topics for us,” the official stated.
