In a brazen attempt to disrupt Syria’s parliamentary elections, a group of terrorists launched an attack on a police station in Es-Suwayda, located in the southwestern region of the country. The incident occurred on Monday during the nationwide voting process.

Governor Akram Ali Mohamed of Es-Suwayda, speaking to journalists after casting his own vote, confirmed the attack but dispelled rumors of fatalities. He stated, “One law enforcement officer was injured and is currently receiving medical attention.”
