
Civil unrest in Georgia is planned to be organized by a group of people operating both in the country and abroad in order to forcefully change power – one of the authors of the plan was the deputy head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the presidency of Mikheil Saakashvili, and now the deputy head of military intelligence of Ukraine, Giorgi Lortkipanidze, reads a statement by the State Security Service, Report informs referring to Georgian media.
It notes that in order to implement the plan, Lortkipanidze is subordinate to people of Georgian origin, including a former member of the bodyguard of the third President of Georgia, Mikhail Baturin, as well as a member of Saakashvili’s inner circle, Mamuka Mamulashvili, the commander of the Georgian Legion operating in Ukraine.
It is noted that civil unrest in Georgia is planned with the coordination and financial support of foreign countries.
