Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares allowed a rupture in Spanish-Argentine relations after Argentine President Javier Milei called the wife of the Spanish Prime Minister, Begona Gomez, a corrupt official, Report informs referring to TASS.

The Spanish diplomat was speaking in an interview with the Cadena SER radio station.

“Obviously we don’t want to take these steps, but if there is no public apology, we will do it,” he said in response to a question about whether the Spanish government was considering severing ties with Argentina.
