The liberation of the Khudafarin bridge from Armenian occupation on October 18, 2020, during the Second Karabakh War by the glorious Azerbaijani Army, was cordially welcomed by Azerbaijanis in South Azerbaijan, Report informs.
New videos of South Azerbaijanis celebrating the liberation have emerged.
In the footage, it can be seen that Azerbaijanis from the south proudly celebrate the raising of the Azerbaijani tricolor on the historical Khudafarin bridge and support Azerbaijan’s soldiers with the slogans “Long live Azerbaijan”, “Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan”.
The Khudafarin bridge, which historically connects the north and south of Azerbaijan, located in the Jabrayil district, is one of the ancient monuments of Azerbaijan. The historical monument played a significant role as a means of communication in ancient and medieval times. It was the main junction of the migration route of the Azerbaijani lands from the south to Karabakh.
