Within the framework of COP29, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) signed a groundbreaking agreement with IntelliGrid, a joint venture between Esyasoft Holding and Presight Company, on November 11, Report informs, citing SOCAR.

The agreement aims to implement a state-of-the-art Smart Gas Network Management System across the entire service area of Azerigaz Production Union.

The signing ceremony was attended by Mikayil Jabbarov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy and Chairman of SOCAR’s Supervisory Board, and Ajay Hans Raj Bhatia, Chief Digital Transformation Officer of International Holding Company (IHC). The document was signed by Rovshan Najaf, President of SOCAR, and Bipin Chandra CEO of IntelliGrid.

According to the agreement, IntelliGrid’s artificial intelligence capabilities will be utilized to integrate data analytics, predictive maintenance, and real-time monitoring into the gas distribution network. This innovative approach is expected to optimize gas consumption, minimize losses, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
