The State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has discussed with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) existing and potential opportunities for cooperation in the field of energy transition, decarbonization and digitalization, Report informs.

The talks were held at the meeting of SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf with Pattabi Seshadri, Managing Director and General Partner of BCG.

At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the fruitful cooperation between SOCAR and BCG, information was provided on the projects implemented by BCG, including the work being done to develop the digital economy.

During the meeting, the long-term corporate strategy of SOCAR was discussed, in particular, it was noted that the introduction of digital and innovative technologies at enterprises is a priority.

The meeting also saw an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
