Shalva Papuashvili, the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament, has called for President Salome Zourabichvili to resign, citing her recent appeal to the Constitutional Court regarding the controversial “Foreign Agents” law, Report informs.
“By appealing to the Constitutional Court over the ‘Foreign Agents’ law, the President of Georgia has acknowledged its legitimacy. If she has any political dignity, she should resign,” Papuashvili stated.
