“We see the tension in Iranian-Azerbaijani relations. But I think that the platform of the think tanks of the three countries will allow us to discuss all issues,” Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan’s Center for Analysis of International Relations Farid Shafiyev told journalists, Report informs.

A conference “Azerbaijan-Turkey-Iran trilateral relations,” organized by the Center for Analysis of International Relations with the participation of the international research centers of Iran and Turkey, has started in Baku.

Shafiyev noted that this meeting was planned earlier, but the situation with the pandemic didn’t allow it to be held.

“Today, our goal is to discuss new realities and new opportunities in the region that have emerged after the 44-day war, including new transport projects,” Shafiyev said.
