A new simulator complex for Embraer E-190 aircraft has been installed at the Pilot Training Center of “Azerbaijan Airlines”.
Report informs, citing the company, that the new simulator complex will allow the pilots of the flag carrier of Azerbaijan to receive training in our country without going abroad.
To install the simulator complex at the National Aviation Academy, a new building for the Simulator Complex was built in accordance with the latest requirements for international pilot training centers.
The manufacturer of the simulator complex is the well-known American manufacturer – FlightSafety International.
The agreement on the purchase of this simulator was signed in Baku on December 16, 2019 by the President of AZAL, Mr. Jahangir Asgarov, and the Rector of the National Aviation Academy, Academician Arif Pashayev, from the Azerbaijani side, and by the Executive Drector for Simulation Products and Services, Mr. John C. Van Maren, and Sales Director, Mr. Philiipe Delfour, from the FlightSafety International side.
After being installed in the NAA, the new FS1000 Embraer E190-E1 Level D Full Flight Simulator was successfully certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) confirming its compliance with level D – the highest for simulators.
During the certification process, EASA conducted more than 170 tests on quality and flight procedures. Compatibility with real aircraft was tested for all simulator systems.
Pilots of Azerbaijan’s as well as of foreign airlines will be trained at this complex.
Flight on the EMB190-100 simulator fully reproduces the cockpit, flight dynamics and visibility of the environment with maximum realism. Upon successful completion of the training this shall allow pilots to obtain a license for a new type of aircraft or undergo retraining.
The AZAL Pilot Training Center has been operating since 2010. It consists of departments for theoretical and practical training. Every year, the theoretical training department ensures participation of more than 7000 civil aviation specialists in more than 300 advanced training courses. The practical training department operates flight simulators for Airbus A319/320, Boeing 757/767, ATR-42/72, as well as Mi-8AMT helicopter, which are essential for the acquisition and maintenance of professional piloting skills.

Today, the secondary schools in Azerbaijan have opened their doors to primary grades in a new academic year.
Report’s correspondent has visited secondary school No 53 in Baku.
The event was attended by MP Erkin Gadirli, deputy head of the Baku City Education Department Orkhan Karimov and school graduate, Patriotic war veteran Javid Ashirov.
The anthem of Azerbaijan was sounded in the first place.
Then, the speakers wished success to schoolchildren and the first-grade students in the year of Victory.
After that, the students were seen off to their classrooms.
Like in all other educational establishments, School No 53 dedicated the first lesson to the topic ‘Karabakh is Azerbaijan!’
In the 2021-2022 academic year, a total of 1,589,829 pupils are expected to study in the country’s general education institutions.
As many as 158,608 students will study in the first grade, 132,881 in the ninth grade, and 91,538 in the eleventh grade.
The educational establishments subordinated to the Baku City Education Department will account for 471,661 students, including 49,171 in grade 1, 36,199 in grade 9, 27,016 in grade 10, 23,707 in grade 11, and 176 in grade 12.
The students of senior grades will be back to school on September 29 and will study five days a week in an offline format.

The vaccination promotion campaigns continue in Azerbaijan.
Report informs that the next promotion campaigns on vaccination are held jointly by the Ministry of Health, Compulsory Health Insurance and Azerbaijani Management Union of Medical Territorial Units – TABIB.
The ‘Let’s Get Vaccinated for All’ campaign is a continuation of the ‘Let’s Get Vaccinated – Bringing Back the Life We Miss’ campaign, which shows that vaccination is the key to protecting our loved ones and everyone we come in contact with.
In the media content, video and radio reels, street ads, and printed materials designed for the campaign, gratitude is expressed to those who help return to the life we miss. The materials show that vaccination is the only way of getting rid of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The video posted as part of the campaign is gratitude to those people who were vaccinated. Due to the vaccination process, which started in January and continues to date, most workplaces have reopened and returned to regular work schedules.
The main message is that vaccination is not a personal decision but a decision linked to society. The slogan of the campaign complements this thinking. Each of us should vaccinate for all.

A solemn ceremony dedicated to the completion of the “Three Brothers-2021” international exercises involving representatives of the special forces of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Pakistan was held in Baku on September 20, according to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
Starting from September 12, the “Three Brothers-2021” joint international exercises of the special forces of Azerbaijan, Turkey and Pakistan will be held in Baku for the first time.
The main objective of the joint exercises is to improve the interoperability of the Special Forces Units of friendly and partner countries during combat operations, prepare for operations in peacetime and wartime, exchange knowledge and experience.
The closing ceremony of the international training exercise ‘Three Brothers-2021’ involving Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Pakistan’s special forces took place in Baku on September 20, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Defense.
Special Force Commander, general lieutenant Hikmat Mirzayev, Commander of the Turkish Special Forces, general lieutenant Omer Erturgul Erbakan, and head of the Security and Anti-Terror Office of the Pakistani Armed Forces, major-general Mumtaz Huseyn spoke at the event.
After the speeches, the participants were presented with souvenirs and were wished success in their future endeavors.
The official part of the ceremony dedicated to the closing of the international training “Three Brothers – 2021” was followed by a cultural program, “Today we are together, tomorrow we will be together!”, which is based on a script of and was directed by Honored Artist, Colonel Abdullah Gurbani.
According to the agreement on military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey, a joint tactical training “Unshakable Brotherhood-2021” with the participation of motorized rifle units, special forces, commandos, and various troops of both countries has kicked off in Nakhchivan.
Report says, citing the Separate Combined-arms Army, that the training, which involved units of the Nakhchivan Garrison and units of the Turkish Armed Forces, traditionally changed the national flags of the two brotherly countries.

An international forum entitled “Ukraine 603.7 Western Ukraine-European diversity” was held in Uzhhorod, Zakarpattia Oblast of Ukraine, Report informs.
The forum was initiated by the Ukraine 603.7 Inter-Factional Association of Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, namely, by Yelyzaveta Yasko, one of the co-chairs of the association. The forum was organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Swiss Embassy in Ukraine, and the Zakarpattia Regional Rada.
The number 603.7 is taken from the size of Ukraine’s internationally recognized territory, including the occupied Donbas and Crimea.
The forum was attended by foreign experts and representatives of national minorities in the country. The panels discussed global, regional, and all-Ukrainian topical issues. Debates were held on the topics, such as ‘the COVID-19 test,’ ‘Western Ukraine: energy and defense,’ ‘Power in diversity: information security,’ ‘Regional development: the economy for the people.’

The day-long panels also discussed separatism in eastern Ukraine and its consequences. Interesting speeches and proposals were voiced on the activities of ethnic minorities in Ukraine, infrastructure development, expanding cooperation with the regional countries, European integration, energy, and tourism.
The forum is will reportedly continue in Mariupol, Kherson, and Chernihiv oblasts of Ukraine.
Turkish and Azerbaijani Air Force fighter jets conducted exemplary flights on the Istanbul sky.
According to Report, a total of 15 planes, including F-16, F-4, and two MiG-29 fighter jets of the Turkish Air Force, took part in the flight.
A group of military personnel and aircraft of the Azerbaijani Air Force have left for Istanbul to participate in the Teknofest-2021 festival. Azerbaijan plans to fly two MiG-29 fighter jets. The festival will take place on September 21- 26.
Ramin Mammadov, a US citizen of Azerbaijani origin, is running for the US House of Representatives, Report informs.
Mammadov will nominate from North Carolina.
Mammadov was born in Baku. After graduating from Baku State University in 2001, he moved to the United States.
The opening of the Zangazur corridor is a political issue, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, commenting on Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s disagreement with the corridor’s opening, Report informs.
“On the one hand, he said this, and on the other hand, he wanted to meet with me, which is thought-provoking. If you want to meet with Tayyip Erdogan, certain steps must be taken. We are not against meetings. The Georgian Prime Minister conveyed to me the proposal of the Armenian Prime Minister to meet. But for this, Armenia must take positive steps. If this meeting takes place, Turkey will also start diplomatic relations,” Erdogan said.
The Turkish leader expressed hope that the opening of the Zangazur corridor would eliminate the difficulties in Azerbaijani-Armenian relations.
The next stage of the “Three Brothers – 2021” international exercises held in Baku in accordance with the agreement on military cooperation between Azerbaijan, Turkey and Pakistan has been successfully accomplished, according to Azerbaijani Defence Ministry.
According to the exercise plan, the special forces were brought to a state of combat readiness and carried out the task of destroying the imaginery enemy group, which infiltrated into the depths of the defense of the units.
At this stage of the exercises that will last untill September 20 the special forces of the fraternal countries have again demonstrated high professionalism.
The State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance has released a new video promoting vaccination against COVID-19.
According to Report, the video was made under the slogan “One should be vaccinated for all” and spoke about the need for vaccination to end the pandemic.

Report informs, citing the Ministry of Defense, that at the next stage of the exercises, Special Forces Units successfully accomplished combat tasks on deployment behind imaginary enemy lines by air in different conditions in the day time and at night in limited visibility.
