Serbia is committed to cooperating with the new US administration to strengthen relations and, at the same time, is ready to consolidate its status as one of the country’s key partners, Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Juric said during a telephone conversation with Louis Bono, the Senior Bureau Official for the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the State Department, Report informs.

“During the conversation, the Serbian top diplomat expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral relations with the US and the recent launch of strategic dialogue as an additional platform for cooperation between the two countries in various fields. The minister emphasized Serbia’s firm determination to cooperate with the new US administration to strengthen the political, economic, and other aspects of our relations. He also noted that the country is ready to strengthen its position as one of the US’s key partners in Europe,” the Serbian MFA said in a statement.
