Cambodia is actively working on gender equality issues by establishing special mechanisms to monitor women’s equal rights, Secretary of the State Ministry of Women Affairs, Man Chinda, said at the Non-Aligned Movement Conference on Advancing the Rights and Empowerment of Women, Report informs.

According to her, Cambodia’s Ministry of Women’s Affairs acts as a bridge between civil society and the government: “In the last 30 years, we have done important work in this direction. We are currently changing our agenda and including gender equality in it.”
