German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has announced the need to prepare a Marshall Plan to support Ukraine.

He made the remark at the final press conference following the G7 summit, which ended June 28 in Germany, Report informs.

The G7 countries give full support to Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin will not win this war, he said, noting that it is very important to stick together.

Scholz added that on the sidelines of the summit, issues of providing financial support to Ukraine for $29 billion were discussed and the issue of providing it with weapons was considered.

The restoration and reconstruction of Ukraine was also discussed, he noted.
