The Azerbaijan Rapid Technical Assistance Facility (AZTAF), funded by the European Union and implemented by the World Bank, supports Azerbaijan’s key national priorities, the World Bank country manager for Azerbaijan Sarah Michael said at the annual meeting to review the progress of the program, Report informs.

According to Sarah Michael, AZTAF was developed in close cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.

She stressed that AZTAF is designed to ensure the implementation of Azerbaijan’s goals such as energy efficiency, water security and digital security, the creation of smart cities and villages, economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic, etc.
