Three were detained in the criminal case, which is interconnected with the case of mass poisoning with the My Cider drink in a number of Russian regions.

Russia’s Investigative Committee established that in May 2023, Dmitry Yegorov and his father Alexey Yegorov jointly with police officer Ivan Grebenkin stole six tons of methyl alcohol from the warehouse of a federal state institution and sold it to Artem Hayrapetyan. The poisonous substance was used further in the production of cider.
