Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had separate phone conversations with the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on September 30, the Russian Foreign Ministry informed.

During the phone conversations, the current situation in Nagorno-Karabakh was discussed.

The Russian side expressed serious concern over the continuing military actions.

Lavrov noted that Russia will continue exerting efforts both on its own and with joint efforts with other co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group for political and diplomatic settlement of the conflict.

Moreover, Moscow’s readiness to host a trilateral meeting of the Azerbaijani, Armenian and Russian FMs was emphasized.
