Over the past day, medical experts recorded 106,920 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.

Also, more than 6,300 people with COVID-19 were hospitalized per day, 17.6% less than the day before.

The total number of registered cases in the country has reached 16,398,036 since the pandemic onset.

To date, a total of 351,660 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 733 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 13,575,652.
