Official Moscow has imposed a ban on the transportation of goods by companies from countries that have imposed transport restrictions against Russia, Report informs.

The relevant decision was signed by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin.

The decision prohibits international cargo transportation through the territory of Russia using freight vehicles registered abroad, owned by foreign carriers that apply restrictive measures in the field of transport against the citizens and legal entities of the Russian Federation.

The ban applies to bilateral and transit shipments, as well as shipments from or to the territory of a third country.
