
The Agreement on Strategic Partnership in the field of green energy development and transmission between the governments of Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania and Hungary, signed during the visit of President Ilham Aliyev to Bucharest, on December 17, 2022, will make a valuable contribution to strengthening Europe’s energy security, Romanian President Klaus Iohannis said at the 9th Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting and 1st Green Energy Advisory Council Ministerial Meeting in Baku, Report informs.
“This Strategic Partnership is also in line with the REPowerEU plan and will strengthen economic growth, security, resilience and climate action for Europe and for our partners,” he noted.
