The Romanian Parliament, at the request of President Klaus Iohannis, has approved by a majority vote the participation of the Romanian military in the creation of a maritime mine countermeasures group in the Black Sea, according to the Agerpress agency, Report informs referring to TASS.

Starting this year, Romania will contribute to the MCM Black Sea (Black Sea Mine Countermeasure Task Group) with a headquarters staff of up to six soldiers, as well as a warship with mine countermeasures capabilities and a crew of deminers on board, with a crew of a maximum of 85 soldiers.
