
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan did not discuss Yerevan’s work within the CSTO during their recent phone conversation, Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, Report informs.
“This topic was not discussed during the latest phone conversation between the President and the Prime Minister,” he noted.
Commenting on the report of Armenia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, which stated that the grounds for suspending the country’s membership in the CSTO are unlikely to disappear in 2025, Peskov noted that Armenia has not yet announced any intention to leave the CSTO.
The phone conversation between Putin and Pashinyan took place on January 17.
