Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the government to take “comprehensive measures” to integrate unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) into the country’s single airspace, Report informs citing the Kremlin.

Putin instructed to submit a report on this before September 1.

“In order to ensure the safe operation of unmanned aerial systems, take comprehensive measures to integrate unmanned aircraft into the unified airspace of the Russian Federation, including considering the issue of digital transformation of air traffic management in terms of air traffic services systems, navigation, landing, surveillance, communications and countering the illegal use of unmanned aerial systems. Report – until September 1, 2023, then – once every six months,” says in the order list.
