Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the recent contacts with North Korean leader Kim Jong UN, the results of the talks in Beijing, as well as the situation in Venezuela with the permanent members of the Security Council of Russia, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitriy Peskov said, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.

“Much attention at the meeting was paid to the situation in Venezuela in the light of the incoming news about the coup attempt in this country,” Peskov said.

According to him, Vladimir Putin also informed his colleagues about his contacts with the Chairman of the State Council of the DPRK Kim Jong UN in Vladivostok and about numerous negotiations with foreign leaders held during his recent visit to China.

Along with this, US President Donald Trump has already been informed about the situation inside Venezuela. It is stressed in the statement of White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders that Washington is “watching” the situation in the country.
