Duke of Cambridge William secretly worked in the British helpline Shout 85258. It is the first helpline in the country, with specialists exchanging messages around the clock with people in crisis, Report says, citing Mirror.

He joined the ranks of volunteers with another two thousand inhabitants of the UK and underwent the necessary training. On the anniversary of his work, he and his wife Kate Middleton phoned some of the volunteers via video link. The organization mainly works with representatives of ethnic minorities, including blacks.

The royal family has invested three million pounds in the service. Since last year, Shout has conducted over 300,000 phone calls, and 65 percent of people who applied for help were under 25 years old.

Also, Kate Middleton participated in the National Health Service volunteer program during the coronavirus epidemic. She called up with those who were in isolation or needed support.
