Bulgaria stands every chance to join Schengen next year, President Rumen Radev said, adding that “this will largely depend on Bulgaria, Report informs via foreign media.

“I know this from my discussions with the two countries that are still hesitant [about Bulgaria’s Schengen accession], Radev said. “We continue to work at all diplomatic levels, but we must do our work in Bulgaria as well. That is why I am calling on all political parties to not politicize the topic, to not use it for interpersonal quarrels between party leaders,” the Bulgarian leader said.

According to him, the National Assembly must adopt at all costs the Recovery and Resilience Plan legislation, which concern the judicial reform.
