Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili spoke about the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia during a meeting with the Pope.

The local Bureau of Report informs that Zurabishvili said this in an interview with the Italian publication Agenzia Nova Srl.

According to her, for the first time in modern history, Georgia continued its traditions. It acted as a mediator between Azerbaijan and Armenia: “We hope that the current situation in Armenia will improve, especially after the snap elections in the country.”
