Russia should react tougher to what is happening in Yerevan, and to the way the government of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is behaving, political scientist Yevgeny Mikhailov told the Russian Bureau of Report, commenting on the anti-Russian rally in the center of Yerevan on the day of the CSTO summit in the Armenian capital.

“An anti-Russian rally against the CSTO, which took place on the day of the summit, as well as a torchlight procession organized a couple of weeks ago, where Russia was called an occupier already make it possible to conclude that we need to talk to Armenia differently. Moreover, it is already known that Pashinyan did not sign the CSTO declaration. This sounds quite defiant, given how dependent Armenia is on Russia,” the expert said.
